DH-88 Colloid Titanium
Surface Adjuster
1. General introduction
DH-88 is a colloid
titanium salt surface adjuster, which is
used for surface adjustment before moderate
temperature or low temperature parkerizing.
It can bring about a fast parkerizing
process and a more refined, solid and even
parkerizing film. The coating may be given a
richer luster. The erosion-resistance and
paint-attachment may also be much improved.

3. Method of using
a)
Preparing the liquid in the tank:
Firstly, let the tank contain water up to
80% of the total volume(1000L). The water is
required to be of the conductivity 400us/cm.
Then get the required
amount of DH-88 surface adjuster. Let it
dissolve in a little water(warm water would
be better). Stir well the solution.
Pour the dissolved
surface adjuster into the tank, add water to
get to the total volume 1000L. Stir to
ensure the liquid well mixed. Test the
general alkalinity and put the liquid into
use.
b)
Handling the liquid:
Stir well the liquid in the tank and test
the general alkalinity before each day’s
operation. Extra surface adjuster should be
supplied according to the test results. But
as the liquid is over-used with too much
impurity in it, merely putting in extra
adjuster will not bring the expected effect
--- the parkerizing film will get thinner,
murky, with multi-color patterns appearing
at places(such film is liable to become
yellowish and rusty). In that case , the
dirty, dark liquid must be replaced by a
tank of newly prepared liquid. Generally, a
50-ton(or smaller) tank should have its
liquid renewed in 7 days. A tank of more
than 50 tons, would have its new liquid in
30 days
4. Package and storeage
This product has its
25kg, 30kg, 40kg packages, in lined plastic
bags, which are to be kept from moisture and
heat. Storage time limit --- 5 years.
5. Points for attention
This product is
of a light alkaline character, and users
should avoid its coming into contact with
their eyes or skin. In case one’s eyes or
skin is stained by it, they are to be washed
with plenty of water immediately. |
