DH-201
Moderate-Temperature High-Effective
Degreasing Agent(to be pickled in or
sprayed)
DH-201, with its
excellent degreasing capacity, is used for
steel-iron material cleaning before
parkerizing. This agent may be pickled in or
be sprayed, something very convenient to
use.

2.
The tank(1000L):
Let
the tank contain water up to 2/3 of its
total volume. Heat the water until it is
nearing the required temperature (see
below). Put in 20kg of DH-201 degreasing
agent. Start the cycling pump to ensure its
dissolution. Then add more water to make the
mixture come to the required volume. Test
the alkalinity and put it to use.
3.
Treatment conditions:
Free
alkalinity: 11-13pt
Temperature: 45-55°C
Time duration: 5-10
minutes
4.
Supplement and adjustment:
Because the density of the mixture changes
as long as the degreasing process goes on,
tests must be made at regular intervals and
more agent be supplied to keep the required
density. Generally, 1.7kg of DH-201 should
be added to increase the free alkalinity by
1pt.
The degreasing mixer
will become filthy and less effective after
being used for a long time. Then,
even supplement of more
agent can hardly bring back the satisfactory
result. It is time to empty the
tank and to prepare a
new mixture in it.
5. Method of alkalinity
test:
To test the free
alkalinity, transfer 10ml of the treating
liquid with a suction pipet into beaker,
add
2-3 drops of
phenolphthalein. Titrate the mixture with
sulphuric acid. When the mixture changes
from pink to colorless,
the number of ml of sulphuric acid used will
be the result of the test.
6.
Points for attention:
DH-201 is an
alkaline degreasing agent, and it must not
come into contact with our eyes, skin or
clothes. Workers must wear rubber gloves,
protective overall and spectacles. In case
drops of the treating liquid stain one’s
eyes or skin, they are to be washed away
with plenty of water. |
