DH-60L Additive to Iron-Steel
Rust Remover
This
additive is use in hydrochloric acid
pickling or hydrochloric-compound acid
pickling of high-, midium- and low-carbon
steel and some other materials. When this
additive is added to the pickling liquid
under different technical conditions, better
results are achieved: the pickling process
is quickened, acid mist is prevented,
over-doing avoided, and hydrogen seepage
stopped. This is a high-tech product, the
most up-to-date and practical product of its
kind, effective in reinforcing the material
and saving energy, as well as good for
environment protection and operation
conditions.
1.
Characteristics of the product
a)
When DH-60L is added in the hydrochloric
acid pickling liquid, the rate of mist
prevention may reach 80-90% according to
different steel materials and pickling
conditions. The evaporation of the acid is
restricted, the consumption lessened. 30-40%
of the hydrochloric acid is saved. In
addition, using DH-60L blocks the erosion of
the material, so the loss of the base may be
reduced by 0.4-0.6 %.
b)
DH-60L has its excellent properties of
penetrating, dispersing and moistening. When
it is added to
the
liquid, the pickling process is sped up, the
surface impurities, rust and oxide crust are
more
easily rid of. So a
clean material surface is guaranteed to pave
the way of successive operations.
c)
DH-60L consists of some complex activator
that can get Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 readily
dissolved, and the Fe2+ and Fe3+ will be
brought into new complexes. Thus the rust
removing process is much quickened, and the
frequency of renewing the treatment liquid
is limited.
d)
DH-60L additive to pickling liquid is safe,
nonpoisonous and odorless. It has a certain
nice smell and is of very stable properties.

namely, DH-60LA(initial agent) and
DH-60LB(supplied agent), both being liquid
between light yellow and milky white colors.

Methods and conditions required
Prepare the liquid
according to the density requirement.
Normally the liquid contains 10-20%
hydrochloric acid. And when the additive
DH-60L makes up 5% of total amount of the
pickling liquid, the result may be the best.
The normal atmospheric temperature will be
all right for theoperation. After a certain
time, when acid mist rises or extra acid was
added, DH-60LB(supplied agent) should be put
in(also an amount of 5% of the total
liquid).
4.
Property, package, transportation and
storage
a)
property --- This product is a light yellow
liquid, with no impurities or non-soluble
susbstances. It can be stored for a long
time without deteriorating.
b)
Package, transportation and storgae --- This
product is non-poisonous, not inflammable or
explosive, with no special requirements for
its transportation and storage. 50kg
polythene plastic container is used
for its package. Package may be altered on
customers’ requests. |
